PRIVACY NOTICE · NOVEMBER 1, 2026
How BlogPilot handles your data.
This notice covers the FlowGenIQ BlogPilot application and its publishing workspace.
Data processed
BlogPilot stores Wix installation and site identifiers, the Wix owner's identifier, site settings, subscription verification and allowance records, selected author information, uploaded keywords, brand details, knowledge documents, images, generated content, schedules, and operational records. Existing standalone accounts also have an email address and a hashed password. Wix-based sign-in does not require a separate password or the owner's email address. Provider API keys are encrypted before storage.
Why the data is used
Data is used to verify access to your site, generate and edit articles and images, apply your publishing rules, publish to Wix when instructed, track jobs and estimated usage, prevent duplicate operations, and diagnose errors. BlogPilot does not include advertising trackers or sell customer content.
Services that receive data
Wix receives authorized blog content, images, metadata, and requests needed to manage your installation. Wix also receives basic app-usage event names when you open a connected dashboard or successfully save an article as a Wix draft. These events are associated with the app installation through Wix authorization; their payloads do not include keywords, article text, images, email addresses, or session identifiers. They help measure app usage and successful publishing workflows. Render hosts the application and its stored data. When you request AI generation or indexing, relevant prompts, knowledge excerpts, content, and selected reference images are sent to the configured AI provider, such as OpenAI or Google. Image searches send search terms to the selected stock provider, Pexels or Pixabay. Optional research sends keywords to scholarly discovery services such as Crossref or PubMed and retrieves pages from your configured sources. These services process requests under their own terms and privacy policies.
Content sent to Wix for publication becomes publicly accessible when published. Media shared with a provider uses a temporary signed access link. Do not upload confidential personal records, patient information, or material you lack permission to share.
Cookies and local storage
An essential, HTTP-only session cookie maintains sign-in. Wix sessions expire within eight hours or earlier if the signed Wix authorization expires. The dashboard uses local storage to remember the selected site. These features are used for access and workspace preferences, not behavioral advertising.
Retention and your choices
Workspace content remains available for ongoing publishing and reinstallation. Uninstalling disconnects Wix access and pauses campaigns; it does not immediately erase the workspace or delete articles already published on Wix. You can export your content, remove provider credentials, edit content, and pause campaigns in the dashboard. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of retained workspace data. We verify ownership before acting. Some operational or backup records may remain where needed for security, recovery, or applicable obligations.
Security
The app uses HTTPS, encrypted provider credentials, signed Wix identity verification, per-site authorization, session expiry, and checks on state-changing requests. No system can promise absolute security. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Contact and updates
For privacy requests, contact FlowGenIQ at contact@flowgeniq.org. Include the site name and your request, but no secret credentials. This notice may be updated as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version.
