GETTING STARTED
Your expertise.
A consistent publishing routine.
Plan articles from a CSV, add your brand and evidence, and publish through Wix Blog.
- Open your workspace. Install BlogPilot on the intended Wix site. In that site's Wix dashboard, open Apps → Manage Apps → BlogPilot → Open. BlogPilot verifies the Wix owner and opens the matching workspace in a new tab. A separate BlogPilot password is not required. Collaborator access is not supported in this release.
- Choose your plan. Open Settings to view your plan, article allowance, image allowance and reset date. BlogPilot manages the AI and stock connections. Select your plan in Wix when plans become available. Creation stops at your allowance; there are no automatic overage charges. Started article jobs reserve an article credit; publishing that draft does not use another article credit. Requested image regenerations use image allowance. Uncertain provider outcomes stay reserved for support review. Daily plan caps apply over 24 hours. Advanced users may optionally select their own provider connection, in which case that provider bills them separately.
- Set an author and publishing pace. In Wix connection, select a Wix Blog author. In Settings, choose a timezone and daily article limit. Keep automatic publication off while you review the first articles.
- Add approved knowledge. Use Knowledge library for your business facts, documents, and supporting sources. Add brand voice, audience, verified differentiators, anchor links, calls to action, and compulsory sections in their dashboard pages. Only upload material you are authorized to use.
- Choose images and branding. Upload logos and reference assets in Asset library. In Image sources, choose AI, stock, or your own assets. For AI images, enable consent, write creative direction, and choose your logo and title/CTA overlay rules. AI and stock modes require at least two images. Edit image alt text in the article editor; describe the image accurately and include keyword words naturally.
- Upload your keywords. In Campaigns, download the CSV template. Each row needs a
keyword; optional fields include title ideas, notes, audience, links, CTA text and URL, source URLs, and a schedule. Preview the import before creating the campaign. Campaigns preserve the image and content settings selected when imported. - Review, then publish. Start the campaign and open its article in Articles. Review facts, sources, title, metadata, images, links, alt text, and required checks. Save a Wix draft before publishing your first article. Once satisfied with the results, enable automatic publication for future campaigns. Pause campaigns or disable the engine in Settings to stop new jobs; a request already in progress may finish.
What the content checks do
BlogPilot checks keyword-word coverage in titles and image alt text, meta descriptions under 160 characters, image requirements, configured sections, links, CTAs, and citation evidence. Structured answers and FAQ settings can support SEO, AEO, and GEO workflows. These checks do not guarantee factual correctness, indexing, rankings, or citations by AI search services.
Sign-in and connection help
If your Wix sign-in expires, reopen BlogPilot from Manage Apps. If Wix cannot confirm ownership, use the site's owner account. To manage another site, open BlogPilot from that site's Wix dashboard. Reinstalling preserves its workspace; removing the app disconnects Wix publication and pauses campaigns. A duplicated site starts a separate workspace; use export/import to copy content and settings, then reconnect providers and review drafts.
